Premiere of Shaun the Sheep

from 5 March 2007 to 1 January 2025

Shaun the Sheep is a British stop-motion animated series from Aardman Animations, the studio of Wallace and Gromit. The character first appeared in the Wallace and Gromit film A Close Shave and was given his own series, created by Nick Park. It follows Shaun, a clever sheep on Mossy Bottom Farm, who leads his flock into mischief while avoiding the farmer and the sheepdog Bitzer. The show has no spoken dialogue, using mumbles and sound effects instead, which helped it to be sold in many countries. It was shown on the BBC and spawned two feature films, spin-offs and a large amount of merchandise.
