Construction of Tho Xuan Airport

1960

Tho Xuan Airport, also known as Sao Vang Airport, is an airport in Thanh Hoa Province in north-central Vietnam. It has served both military and civil purposes, and it was developed over several decades, with a passenger terminal added in the 2010s. As a regional airport, it offers domestic services that connect the province with other parts of the country. Thanh Hoa is a populous and historically important province, so the airport plays a role in local travel, trade and tourism. Beyond these basics, little more can be said with certainty about its history.
