Premiere of Heroes

from 25 September 2006 to 8 February 2010

Heroes is an American science-fiction television series created by Tim Kring and broadcast on NBC. It follows a group of ordinary people around the world who discover that they have extraordinary abilities, such as flight, healing or time travel, and who must try to prevent a catastrophe in New York. The ensemble cast included Milo Ventimiglia, Hayden Panettiere, Masi Oka as the time-bending Hiro Nakamura, and Zachary Quinto as the villain Sylar. The first season was a major hit, and its serial storytelling and tagline, Save the cheerleader, save the world, attracted a large audience. Viewing figures fell in later seasons after the Writers Guild strike, and the series ended after four seasons. A revival, Heroes Reborn, aired in 2015.
