Wikipedia Asian Month 2015 was the first edition of an online editing contest held in November, in which Wikipedia volunteers wrote articles about Asian countries and cultures to improve their coverage on the English and other language editions. It was organised by Wikimedia community members in Asia, and participants who created enough articles received a postcard from the organisers as a reward. The contest later became an annual event with more countries and languages taking part.
