Wikipedia Asian Month is an annual online editing contest in which volunteers from different countries write articles about Asian subjects for their local-language editions of Wikipedia. The contest ran every November, with participants earning postcards from the organisers for meeting a minimum number of accepted articles. Its aim is to improve coverage of Asian countries, history and culture and to bring in new editors from the region. The 2021 edition took place for the whole of November, as in earlier years, and was coordinated by volunteers and local organisers from various Wikimedia communities. The event is one of several regional campaigns used by the Wikimedia movement to reduce gaps in content.
