Premiere of Two and a Half Men

from 22 September 2003 to 19 February 2015

Two and a Half Men is an American sitcom that aired on CBS and became one of the most-watched comedies in the United States. It was created by Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn and centred on a hedonistic jingle writer, Charlie Harper, who lets his divorced brother Alan and Alan's young son Jake move into his Malibu beach house. Charlie Sheen played Charlie in the first eight seasons, and after he left in 2011 the show continued with Ashton Kutcher as a new housemate, Walden Schmidt. It won several Emmy awards, though its crude humour divided critics. The series ended after twelve seasons.
