Premiere of Criminal Minds

22 September 2005

Criminal Minds is an American police procedural television series created by Jeff Davis and first shown on CBS. It follows a team of profilers in the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit, who travel across the United States to help local police catch serial offenders by analysing their behaviour and psychology. Each episode usually opens with a literary quotation and combines a case of the week with the personal lives of the agents. The cast included Mandy Patinkin in the first seasons and later Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson and Shemar Moore. It ran for fifteen seasons and led to international spin-offs and a revival on streaming.
