Attack in which militants opened fire on a Turkish restaurant and hotel in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso on 13 Aug. 2017. It took place on 13 August 2017 in what is now Burkina Faso. The setting was Ouagadougou. It was part of Jihadist insurgency in Burkina Faso. Those involved included al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb. About 19 people died. Some 24 were injured.
