The Amazing World of Gumball is a British-German animated comedy series created by Ben Bocquelet for Cartoon Network. It follows the twelve-year-old blue cat Gumball Watterson and his adopted brother Darwin, a goldfish who grew legs, as they cause trouble in the fictional town of Elmore, with the help or interference of their sister Anais and their family. A striking feature is the mixture of visual styles, as the characters are drawn in 2D while the surroundings may be computer-generated, live action or stop-motion. Its fast and surreal humour made it popular with both children and adults. It ran for six seasons.
