Rostec Arena, originally called Kaliningrad Stadium, is a football stadium built for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Kaliningrad, the Russian exclave on the Baltic Sea between Poland and Lithuania. It stands on Oktyabrsky Island in the Pregolya River, a district that was the old centre of German Konigsberg before the city was destroyed in the Second World War and resettled under Soviet rule. It hosted four group-stage matches during the tournament, including England against Belgium. Afterwards it became the home ground of the club Baltika Kaliningrad, and its naming rights were later sold to the state corporation Rostec.
