Céline Dion was born on 30 March 1968 in Charlemagne. A French-Canadian singer, Dion was born in Quebec, the youngest of fourteen children, and began her career as a teenager with the help of her manager and future husband René Angélil. She won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988 for Switzerland and then built an international career with English-language albums. Her songs include Because You Loved Me and My Heart Will Go On, the theme from the film Titanic, which became one of the best-selling singles of all time. She performed long-running shows in Las Vegas, which made her one of the highest-earning live acts. In 2022 she announced that she had been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder.
