Premiere of Better Call Saul

from 8 February 2015 to 15 August 2022

Better Call Saul is an American crime drama created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould for the cable channel AMC, serving as a prequel to Breaking Bad. It follows Jimmy McGill, a struggling small-town lawyer played by Bob Odenkirk, who gradually turns into the shady criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. Jonathan Banks plays the former police officer Mike Ehrmantraut, and Rhea Seehorn plays Kim Wexler, a lawyer who becomes central to the story. Set mainly in Albuquerque, New Mexico, it moves slowly and carefully, with a focus on character and moral decline. It ran for six seasons and was highly praised by critics, though it never won an Emmy despite many nominations.
