Serena Williams was born on 26 September 1981 in Saginaw. An American tennis player, Serena Williams is widely considered one of the greatest players of all time. She won 23 Grand Slam singles titles in the Open Era, more than any other player in that period, along with many doubles titles with her sister Venus, and four Olympic gold medals. Her power serve and aggressive baseline play dominated the women's game for more than two decades, and she returned to the top after health scares and the birth of her daughter. She retired from competition in 2022 and has since worked in business and investment.
