Jennifer Lopez was born on 24 July 1969 in The Bronx. An American singer, actress and dancer from the Bronx, Lopez started as a dancer and a Fly Girl on the television show In Living Color. She gained acclaim as an actress playing the title role in the 1997 biopic Selena, then made her pop breakthrough with the 1999 album On the 6. In 2001 she became the first woman to have a number-one album and a number-one film at the same time, with J.Lo and The Wedding Planner. Her hits include Jenny from the Block and On the Floor, and her films include Out of Sight, Hustlers and Marry Me. She performed at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2020 and built a business empire in fashion and fragrance.
