1947 uprising in Taiwan. It began on 27 February 1947 in what is now Taiwan and lasted until 16 May 1947 (about 3 months). The setting was Taiwan Island. It was part of history of Formosa and history of the Republic of China. Those involved included Bureau of Investigation and Statistics, Taiwan Provincial Administrative Executive Office, 27 Brigade and Self-Protection Force of Kaohsiung Senior High School.
