Third Kandyan War with the British, in what is now Uva, Sri Lanka, then a province of the Kingdom of Kandy, against the British colonial government under Governor Robert Brownrigg. It began in 1817 and lasted until 1818 (about 1 year). The setting was Uva Province. It was part of Kandyan Wars.
