Kluane National Park and Reserve is a protected area in the southwest of the Yukon in Canada, on the border with Alaska. It contains the highest mountains in the country, including Mount Logan, which at nearly six thousand meters is the second highest peak in North America, and the largest non-polar icefields in the world. Its landscape also includes glaciers, valleys, lakes and boreal forest, and is home to grizzly bears, Dall sheep and mountain goats. The park is managed together with the First Nations of the area, the Kluane First Nation and the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations. Together with neighboring parks in Alaska and British Columbia, it is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
