Chris Evans was born on 13 June 1981 in Boston. An American actor, Evans is best known for playing Steve Rogers, Captain America, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe from 2011, in films such as The Avengers and Avengers: Endgame. Before that he played the Human Torch in the Fantastic Four films and appeared in Not Another Teen Movie and Sunshine. He has also taken on more varied roles in Gifted, Snowpiercer, Knives Out and The Gray Man, as well as on stage in Lobby Hero. He is known for his charity work and for his support of political causes.
