1999 standoff after the conclusion of the Kosovo War, between Russian peacekeepers occupying the Pristina International Airport and approaching NATO forces which could have resulted in a full-scale war between Russia and NATO. It took place on 12 June 1999 in what is now Kosovo. The setting was Pristina International Airport Adem Jashari. It was part of the Kosovo War. Those involved included Russia, NATO and Kosovo Liberation Army.
