Naval battle (1592) in southern Korea during the First Japanese Invasion of Korea. It took place on 8 July 1592. The setting was Hansando and Gyeonnaeryang strait. It was part of First Japanese Invasion of Korea. Those involved included Joseon, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Yi Sun-sin and Yi Ŏkki.
